Welcome to Salmon Run

Salmon Run is A championship course designed as much by nature as by man. Where enthusiasts and purists alike will find a challenge for every club in their bag. A course that carries you along the path of spawning Chinook – and carries your game to a whole new level. Embrace the challenge and nature’s splendor.

Come Golf with Us

Salmon Run is located behind the coastal mountains, and only 3.5 miles from downtown Brookings. With four sets of tees that stretch from 5,433 yards to over 6,400 yards, Salmon Run offers a course for every skill level in a setting that you will never forget. The front 9 is traversed with creeks for an excellent opportunity to work on course management skills. The back nine is considered more open with a 9-hole par 36 encouraging a driver on several holes. Those wishing to work on their short game, on a variety of holes, often drop a ball at the 150 or 100 yard marker. Open to the public, you may even see Salmon and Steelhead as they swim up Jack Creek to spawn. A restaurant, a full service pro-shop and excellent PGA teaching staff are ready to make your Salmon Run golfing experience even more enjoyable.

Testimonial

Little jewel of a layout snugged in the Chetco River Canyon, streams and wildlife everywhere, well-maintained given the limitations of the environment and public-course budget. I’ve played some beauties, including Northstar in Tahoe and Greyeagle in the Sierras, but Salmon Run is right up there with those high-end courses. Heck just the roller-coaster rides to the tee boxes are worth the modest green fees! Ray Z.
